International Conference “Brovary-Erlangen. Historical Perspectives of the Twin Cities Partnership”

Where: hybrid format (in Erlangen and via Zoom)

Department of Modern and Contemporary History with a focus on Eastern European History, FAU Faculty of Philosophy and Applied Theology, with the support of the PACT4Ukraine project, invites you to a joint hybrid conference (online and in person), during which participants will learn about the history of the twin cities of Brovary (Ukraine) and Erlangen (Germany).

The aim of the international conference is not only to inform the general public about the history of the twin cities but also to establish academic contacts between historians from Germany and Ukraine. A number of experts on the history of the respective cities, including heads of regional archives, will take an active part in the event.

The presentations will be broadcast in Ukrainian and German with simultaneous translation.
