FAU provides German language course (A1) for students of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics
On 16 October 2023, FAU Language Centre and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (KhNUE) launched a pilot German language course (A1.1) as part of the PACT4Ukraine project. The course is delivered through the online platform to a group of 23 students as part of the compulsory education programme.
During the winter semester, KhNUE students participating in the pilot course study with textbooks purchased by PACT4Ukraine project with the financial support of the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre.
Thus, in January 2023, German textbooks were acquired for five Ukrainian partner universities: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Kherson State University, and Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. With the help of the town councils of the twin cities of Erlangen and Brovary, more than 400 books were delivered to the partner universities in Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
