Exclusive Discussion with the Congressional U.S. Helsinki Commission
On February 19, 2024, the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Nürnberg hosted a meeting of representatives of the Congressional U.S. Helsinki Commission with representatives of the Ukrainian Community in Frankonia. This gathering was focused on the critical issues surrounding the current situation in Ukraine and the United States response. The FAU PACT4Ukraine team had the opportunity to actively participate in the meeting and engage in dialogue with the distinguished members of the US delegation. More information can be found here.
At the same time, on February 20, 2024, at the invitation of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy, the PACT4Ukraine project team attended a special hearing of the U.S. Helsinki Commission entitled “Holding Russia Accountable for its War Crimes against Ukraine: Lessons from Nuremberg”.
